Sandalwood seed oil can assist to reduce fat deposits on the skin, skin oiliness and redness due to the rare, high level of ximenynic acid it contains which is one of nature's most potent anti-inflammatories.
Fennel, sustainably sourced from the wild in the blue zone island of Ikaria is packed full of ‘super-antioxidants’ and works with the epidermis to strengthen, protect and re-energise skin in the face of environmental stressors such as UV rays, toxins and pollutants, which all contribute to imperfections and premature skin ageing. Its potent elements protect the epidermis against free radicals and give it the optimal environment to thrive and repair.

In Greek mythology, Prometheus (meaning forethought) is a Titan god of fire. He stole fire from the gods, hiding the flame inside a fennel stalk and gave it to humanity. As punishment for the crime Zeus had him chained to a mountain (Source: Hesiod).
Sweet fennel is indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean and was well-known to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans who all used it as medicine, food, and insect repellent. The Greeks were first to recognise its value as a slimming aid. A fennel tea was believed to give strength and courage to the warriors prior to battle.
The ancient Greek name for fennel is ‘μάραθον’ (‘marathon’) or ‘μάραθος’ (‘marathos’) is thought to be derived from ‘maraino’ meaning ‘to grow thin’. The ancient Greeks consumed fennel seeds for strength and to help control their weight while training for the Olympics.

How to Use
