All nefysi skincare products have a shelf life of 18 months from purchase. We recommend using your products within six months from opening the bottle (best to open and use as soon as you buy) to enjoy our products at their peak potency.

Soaps: our natural soaps have an expiry greater than three years therefore these products have no best before date. Natural soap is like fine wine, it gets better with age.

Bath bombs + shower steamers: the sooner you use, the stronger the scent. We recommend to use within six months of purchase to really enjoy the aromas.

All of our products are made with plant-based botanicals, oils and extracts. We highly recommend you check ingredients listed under each remedy on our website and/or the product bottle and speak with your doctor for advice to ensure ingredients do not affect you. Our Alexander | Glycolic acid + retinol serum is NOT recommended for use when pregnant or breastfeeding.

Nefysi products are safe to use for most skin types, unless you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients. Unsure? Perform a patch test by applying a tiny amount of the product on the inside of your elbow. Observe if any redness, itching or irritation occurs within 24 hours of the patch test. If any of the above symptoms appear, discontinue use. You can also speak to your doctor and share the ingredients if you have know allergies before purchasing the product.

Also, if you have previously never used natural skincare, your skin may take a week or two to adjust so just be patient. This means you may see small whiteheads or slight redness and that is because your skin is purging.

All Nefysi’s skincare products for facial use can be applied on the under eye area. There is no separate eye cream required because our hydrators are of the highest purity and efficacy intentionally. 

We do not add any artificial fragrances into our products. The scents you smell come naturally from the plant-based oils, and are testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients we use

 

We have tested all of our skincare remedies on 33 people ranging from 13 to 75 years old, all with unique skin and varied skin concerns.

Our body and bath products are tested firstly by our 4 children, ages 7 to 16 and by our family and friends - ages ranging from 0 to 75 years.

Organic | all our organic ingredients are certified organic. Certified Organic products are grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or GMO's. Organic certification verifies that farms or handling facilities comply with the organic regulations and allows producers to sell, label, and represent their products as organic.

Wildcrafted | These ingredients are native to their place of origin and do not require any irrigation, fertilisers or treatments. No solvents or chemicals are used in the process or manufacture. They are sustainably sourced, meaning they are foraged from the wild (not farms) where these native plants grow according to their natural habitat. Plants that come from this arena are more resilient to disease and can possess more desirable constituents (the beneficial plant chemicals responsible for health + healing). These are the best quality ingredients on the planet.

Natural | these ingredients are existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind. They may be grown in farms using fertilisers or treatments.

Nature Identical | these ingredients have been prepared synthetically in a lab but are chemically identical to a natural one. The few nature identical ingredients used at Nefysi have been carefully selected due to their scientific evidence to address skin concerns.
