μνημοσύνη — Ancient Greece + Mythology
Mnemosyne / μνημοσύνη, in Greek mythology, is the goddess of memory. A Titaness, she was the daughter of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaea (Earth), and, according to Hesiod, the mother (by Zeus) of the nine Muses. She gave birth to the Muses after Zeus went to Pieria and stayed with her for nine consecutive nights.
In Ancient Greece, it was believed when a person passed, their soul would travel to either Lithos or Mnemosyne. If the soul reached Mnemosyne, it would retain it’s memories in the next life - these souls were the old souls or those who had lived many lives before. If the soul was new, it would travel to Lithos to await rebirth and not retain memories.
Mnemosyne body oil, once applied to the skin, triggers memory cells and restores your skin to it’s youthful state.
How to Use
Apply Mnemosyne right after the shower when skin is still damp and allow a few minutes to pass before dressing.
Can apply over clean face + body, concentrating on dry areas. Avoid the eye area
