Athena is a highly moisturising natural soap bar crafted with cleansing activated charcoal and antioxidant-rich Greek extra virgin olive oil, Shea Butter and Coconut oil to hydrate, regenerate and improve the skin. With essential oils of Tea Tree, Greek Clary Sage, Greek Lavender and Greek Juniper Berry this bar is anti-bacterial and leaves skin cleansed and less reactive to external aggressors.

We make all of our natural soaps in small batches and cure for at least 6 weeks to ensure you receive the most effective remedies possible. We use pure organic, wildcrafted and natural or nature identical ingredients, extracts and oils that may differ in colour and texture based on season and region they are harvested from.
As a result, this product may vary in colour, texture and fragrance from batch to batch. This does not impact the efficacy of the product and each contains the same amount of active ingredients.

Our charcoal bar is handcrafted to clean and protect the skin and is named after the goddess Athena / αθηνά. In Greek mythology, Athena was the city protectress, goddess of war, handicraft, and practical reason. In Homer’s Illiad, Athena, as a war goddess, inspires and fights alongside the Greek heroes; her aid is synonymous with military prowess. In the Iliad, Zeus specifically assigns the sphere of war to Ares, the god of war, and Athena. Athena’s moral and military superiority to Ares derives in part from the fact that she represents the intellectual and civilized side of war and the virtues of justice and skill.
Our Athena soap bar includes activated charcoal - In antiquity, Hippocrates, the Greek physician, the father of natural medicine, used activated charcoal. Activated charcoal has been called black magic because of its colour and healing abilities. Ancient Greek women also used charcoal to emphasise their eyes as eyeliner and for shaping their eyebrows.
Ritual
In the shower, rub Athena body bar all over wet body to cleanse and hydrate. Can also use to cleanse face by lathering bar between hands with water and gently massaging into face. Rinse well with water.
Do not leave this natural bar of soap sitting in a pool of water or an area that will constantly get wet as it will soften prematurely. If you keep this soap dry between uses it will last a long time
