A unique, luxurious, handcrafted, natural soap bar, hand felted with 100% merino wool to give you a home-spa treatment. Our felted soap is gently exfoliating, providing you with an intensely nourishing cleanse. The natural wool fibres are anti-bacterial and anti-microbial and shrink around the soap making your experience last far longer than any naked bar. Crafted with Greek olive oil, organic coconut oil and cocoa butter, this bar deeply hydrates and softens the skin. Each bar is handmade and one of a kind.
Zero essential oils are included so this luxurious remedy can be used on even the most sensitive skin including babies.

We make all of our natural soaps in small batches and cure for at least 6 weeks to ensure you receive the most effective remedies possible. We use pure organic, wildcrafted and natural or nature identical ingredients, extracts and oils that may differ in colour and texture based on season and region they are harvested from.
As a result, this product may vary in colour, texture and fragrance from batch to batch. This does not impact the efficacy of the product and each contains the same amount of active ingredients.

μαλλιαρό — Ancient Greece + Mythology
Our hand felted woolly / μαλλιαρό bar soap’s hero ingredient is Greek olive oil from Crete.
In Ancient Greece, olive oil was called liquid gold by Homer, and it had an almost mythical status. Ancient women of Crete used it for their hair, face and bodies to nourish and hydrate due to its natural source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants.
The first cultivation of the olive tree worldwide took place in Greece, and more specifically in Crete. This happened in approx 3500 BC in the early Minoan era. In this period, the olive tree was in a wilder form in comparison to the tree we know today. From 2000 BC, the cultivation of the olive tree in Crete was very intense and systematic, playing the most important role in the island's economy. ThIs olive oil was not only exported to mainland Greece but to Northern Africa and Asia Minor as well.
Soon after, the cultivation passed to mainland Greece and the olive tree and its blessed product, olive oil, became synonymous with Greek nutrition through the centuries to present day.
The picture depicts the oldest living olive tree located in Crete, approx 4,000 years old and still producing olives today!
Ritual
The wool helps the soap last longer and makes a slippery bar easier to hold onto. In the shower, in the bath or over the sink, immerse the bar in water, rub it in your hands to form a rich lather, then apply to the area required, scrub gently then rinse the suds away. Eventually, the soap will be used up and you will be left with a felted piece of wool fabric. This can be used with naked bars or liquid soap to continue washing.
NOTE: Make sure you squeeze out excess water between uses and store it away from resting water. If you keep this soap dry between uses it will last a long time
